Great little Vegan deli. The owner was super friendly and really focuses on healthy and fresh food. I loved hearing about his creative flare for new dish ideas and what has and has not worked for him in the past. It was great to get tips for cooking at home. The one opportunity I think they have to grow to the next level will be to have more diversity with their shelves. I would love to see more products to choose from however I know that takes time and they have to balance the "shelf life" against the desire to have a ton of choices. I will definitely be back. The cheese steak was awesome and the BBQ sandwich had tons of flavor. Hate to say it but the Mac and cheese could use just a bit of tweaking to be creamier. In the end I hope you go and enjoy as much as we did.
Oh my LORD! This is easily the best vegan food I've ever had (can you tell? Lol ) I'm eating a Blarby's sandwich (house made roast "beef", "provolone", blarby's sauce, pickles, and onions, on a onion bun) and my husband had the Korean Beef Crackaroni Wrap (vegan Mac, house made spicy Korean "beef") When I say I am beyond impressed and thrilled for this find I mean that wholeheartedly. Very kind staff, incredible food, good price point! So so SO happy.
Stumbled upon this little gem while in Dunedin. First things first- the whole menu is vegan, they also have a gluten free menu, and gluten free ciabatta. There was no dine in, it is take out only. The deli is right never to an Irish pub that has indoor and outdoor seating and lets you eat there. (Service at the pub was also incredibly friendly and prompt)The woman at the deli gave us a free second drink coupon to the pub and a menu. We went next door, had a drink and ordered our food online, then sat at the pub to eat it. We ordered the big whack classic, the impossi-Philly. It was amazing. The Philly tasted like a real hoagie and was particularly delicious. We will be back!
Stupid name, stupid location, food I'd slap a baby to eat. First, the grips no one cares about:(1) Dunedin is in the name but it is located in Clearwater. (2) this deli should be located in St Pete not this forsaken area of retirement land. :) Okay who cares about name and location when the food is this good. Nobody. Lol Chicken wings. Chicken wings. Chicken wings. It is worth the trip here just for these wings. These wings literally ooze with that addictive Buffalo flavor. These aren't some gardein or store bought vegan chicken wings. If you love Buffalo wing sauce, even if youre not veg or plant based, these wings are the perfect delivery system for wing sauce. No bone to deal with- just chewy buffalo saucey goodness. My fiance isn't vegan but ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich and even he enjoyed his but he likes Golden Dinosaurs sandwiches better. With all the amazing plant based options on the menu, this will be my new addiction.
Such a great hole-in-the-wall place with a large menu of delicious food! They their time making all of the items fresh so it's just that much better when you take your first bite! Nice and cool inside as well if you're trying to escape the heat. So far I've have had their breakfast sandwiches (mcbluffins) and a Cali wrap & they did not disappoint. Can't wait to try everything on the menu :)
